Recertification
The umbrella organization SGUM is responsible for the administration and control of all SGUM certificates of competence.
The sections, in our case the musculoskeletal section, are responsible for further training/education until the certificate of competence is obtained (passed exam).
After receiving the certificate of competence, you can become a member of our section and thus help shape the life of the association. After passing the exam, you can apply for membership here.

Full Section members commit to attending continuing education courses that are recognized by the Musculoskeletal Section.
The amount of continuing education for a successful recertification is
50 hours per 5 years, 30% of which (15 hours) must be in the form of self-study. Please study the SGUM guidelines.
If you belong to more than one section, the guidelines of the SGUM apply.
In addition, the renewed attendance of an advanced or final course, of the SGUM Musculoskeletal Section, of an external refresher course recognized by the Section, of a corresponding congress as well as the activity as a teacher are credited.
In case of insufficient recertification, the General Assembly of the Section may decide to revoke the membership.
